| Hearing his grandfather hanging
up he didn't want to wait and get caught so he orbed out again. He appeared
at the family grave and stared at his sisters name. "Why did you go
alone?" Caressing the name on the stone he sighed. "She didn't go alone " Chris turned around and looked at his brother. "What do you mean?" "She wasn't alone I mean she didn't go by herself to vanquish that demon." Wyatt walked up to him. Softly touching the stone he stared at his sisters name. "Who was with her? Who took her to that demon?" Chris asked surprised by what his brother just told him. Wyatt turned his gaze to him. "It was you, you took her with you on one of your bloody demon hunts!" he said with a low voice. "Come on Patricia." Chris looked at his 2 year younger sister. "You know I can't do this on my own and Wyatt is to busy." Giving her his puppy dog eyes look she sighed. "Ok fine. I'll go with you but you better make sure mom doesn't find out. She would kill us both for going after that demon without dad." "You're the best." Chris gave her a hug. "Yeah, yeah safe that for after the vanquish." Patricia got herself lose from his grip and smiled cheekily. Feeling slapped in the face Chris stepped back. "No I didn't. I wasn't even around when it happened." Chris kept shaking his head in denial. Looking at his brother he could see he wasn't lying. "No tell me it isn't true." "What do you want me to say Chris? You lost your memory of the event." Wyatt turned his face away to look at the stone again. "So where is that demon of yours? We're looking for ages now and my feet are killing me." Patricia sighed. "Shit got something in my shoe." She stopped leaning against the wall she took her shoe off and held it upside down. "Are you done?" Chris asked impatiently. Hearing a noise he putted his finger to his mouth giving her a sign to be quiet. Patricia walked closely towards her brother. "I think he's here." Chris whispered. Patricia's eyes widened when she saw the demon behind Chris. "Well I think you're right." As she pointed behind him. Chris turned around and pushed Patricia behind him. "Do you have the potion?" "Yep I do have the potion." "Well throw it then!" Chris urged her. The demon walked fast towards them. "Patricia now please!" Chris tried his telekinetic power on the demon but the demon moved only a bit back. Getting annoyed with the two witches he ran towards them again. "Patricia!" Chris yelled but it had no use the demon swung his hand at him and he send Chris flying into the nearby wall. His head hitting the wall very hard. He heard his sister scream. "No Patricia " He mumbled right before his vision turned black and he fell into an unconscious state. "No I was sick. Mom woke me telling me the bad news." Chris tried to convince himself. "Why are you telling me this? It isn't true." Chris started to get angry. Why did Wyatt tell him this? Why did he blame him for what happened? "You weren't sick. You had hit your head extremely hard. Even dad couldn't fix that." Wyatt turned around and stared at his brother. "Because of your stupid action we lost our sister and if you go further on this path you'll be dead soon too." "Chris wake up!" Chris heard a voice coming from far but he couldn't open his eyes to see who it was. "Chris where's Patricia?" He wanted to answer but he couldn't get any sound out of his throat. He felt himself getting lifted and only seconds after that he lost conscious again. "Chris sweetie " He felt a soft hand brushing his cheek. He tried to open his eyes. "Chris please wake up." He felt the hand brushing his cheek again. He recognized his mother now. Slowly opening his eyes he tried to focus. "Leo he's waking up." His vision still blurry he could see the shapes of his parents. "Mom? Dad? What happened?" He tried to remember why his head was hurting like hell. Piper looked from Leo back to her son. "It's ok sweetie you hurt your head badly. Can't you remember how?" "No I can't. Why what's wrong?" His vision started to get better and he could see his brother standing in a corner. "Where's Patricia?" They stared at him. "Where is she?" He started to get nervous as he saw tears appear in his mothers eyes. "Mom?" Leo stepped forward and placed a hand on his wife her shoulder. "Chris we don't know where Patricia is. We can't find her, we think she's " "No I don't want to hear it. It's not possible I just saw her earlier." Chris sat up shaking his head. "Chris sweetie you've been unconscious for 4 days." Piper took his hand. "You've been sick." "Mom please tell me it's not true. Tell me Patricia is still alive." Chris begged his mother. "Chris we couldn't find her. We have to accept she's gone." Tears were rolling down her face as she embraced her younger son. "It wasn't my fault. I was sick." Chris repeated. "Why would you say such a thing?" Chris shoved Wyatt. "It wasn't my fault!" He shoved him again. "Stop it Chris." Wyatt grabbed his arms before he could shove him again. "You were there. You asked her to tag along." He pushed Chris back. "Dad found you unconscious in a cave. There were signs of struggling. He found a piece of clothing that belonged to Patricia." Chris shook his head. "You're lying!" "I'm not lying. Ask mom and dad." Wyatt said calmly. "NO YOU'RE LYING!!!" Chris yelled. Tears forming in his eyes he gave his brother one last look before he orbed out. Arriving at the manor he started to yell. "Mom!" Piper came rushing into the living room. "What's wrong?" She saw her son's wet face. "Chris?" "Was it my fault?" He asked upset. "Was what your fault?" Piper asked not understanding what he was talking about. "Was it my fault that we lost Patricia?" He saw his mothers face and he knew Wyatt was telling the truth. "It was, wasn't it? He was telling the truth." Chris said getting mad at his self for forgetting what he had done to this family. "Chris it wasn't your fault." Piper took a step forward. "I'm so sorry mom. Why can't I remember it?" He fell back on the couch covering his face with his hands. Piper sat down next to him. "We don't know why you can't remember. Your dad healed you but you woke up with the memory loss." "I took her with me and now she's gone because of me." He looked at his mother his eyes red from crying. "Why didn't you tell me this?" "We didn't want to force you in remembering." She brushed his cheek. "Did your dad tell you what we decided?" Chris nodded. "I think it's a good idea." He said softly. Thinking it would be better if he left the manor for a while. "I'm glad to hear that and your grandfather would love to have you around for a while." "When am I going?" Chris stared at his hand lying in his mothers. "Tomorrow." Piper lifted his head looking in his eyes. He tried to give her a smile. "I should go pack then." Slowly standing up he walked to the stairs. Piper watched her son how he left to go upstairs. She felt sad. She lost one child and now she had to send away another for his own sake. She saw her eldest orb in. "Why did you tell him?" "He had a right to know. It was wrong to keep it from him. He should have known from the beginning what he has done." Wyatt said on that calmly tone. "But he didn't do anything and don't you dare telling him otherwise." Piper warned him. Wyatt shrugged his shoulders. "I mean it Wyatt." Standing up she walked to the stairs. "Go find your father for me." Hearing him orb out she sighed and continued her walk upstairs. |
