based on the character Chris Halliwell from the tv-show Charmed

"Chris get your butt down here right now!!"

Chris moaned he didn't want to wake up. He was to tired. He opened slowly one eye to spot the time. Seeing it was almost noon he buried his head underneath the pillow and hoped that they stopped yelling for him.

"Chris you better get moving or you'll be sorry you didn't!"

His door opened up and he could hear how his mother came bursting in his room. He heard her opening up the blinds and he saw rays of light falling on his bed. Burying his head even deeper underneath the pillow he tried to convince his mother that he wasn't planning on getting up.

"Christopher Halliwell get your butt moving." Piper said mad as she pulled the blankets off of him.

Chris grumbled. "Mom please…" He tried to persuade her but instead she ripped the pillow of his head. Blinded by the sunlight he blinked a few times turning his head to look at his mother.

"Can't a person sleep in?" He grumbled further. He tried to get the blankets back but she had pulled them of the bed.

"You promised me something." She folded her arms as she tapped with her foot giving him an angry look.

Chris rubbed his eyes and sat up. What did he miss? What did he promise? He stared at his mother and he could tell she was angry with him but for what? He tried to remember what it was but he couldn't even remember he went to bed last night. Rubbing his temples he closed his eyes focussing on what his mother was talking about. Trying to ignore the head ache that was showing itself.

Piper looked at her youngest son and she could tell he clearly forgot what he had promised her. "Chris don't tell me you forgot it?"

Chris opened up his eyes and stared at her. Slowly nodding he could see her face changing from angry into disappointment. "I'm sorry." He said softly. He saw his mother shaking her head while she left his room.

"What is wrong with me?" He said to himself falling back on the bed.

"Well I could sum up some things…"

Lifting his head he saw his brother standing in the doorway. "Sure rub it in." He mumbled letting his head rest on the bed again.

"Chris you shouldn't have promised her that if you actually weren't planning on keeping your promise." Wyatt leaned against the doorway and looked at his kid brother.

"What are you talking about?" Chris said starting to get annoyed everybody knew his promise but he couldn't remember what it was.

"You promised her not to go demon hunting anymore." Wyatt said calmly.

"I did?" Chris sat up again. Trying to get his memory back from last night but it was jammed. He looked at his brother. Why did he promised his mother something like that? What was going on with him? Why couldn't he remember what happened last night.

"Yeah you did and she found out that you were gone last night on a nice demon hunt."

Chris gave his brother an not understanding look. "You know I can't remember anything form last night." Chris quietly said.

"Keep saying that Chris and maybe she let you of the hook." Wyatt turned around and walked away.

Seeing his brother leave he scratched his head. "This sucks." Standing up he closed his door. He sat back on his bed and looked at the frame on the night stand. He picked it up staring at the picture. His parents were so happy when they took this family picture. Looking at the faces of his parents, his brother, himself and … He swallowed a lump. Feeling the tears in his eyes he slowly started to remember why he promised his mother he wouldn't go demon hunting anymore. Placing the frame back on the stand he closed his eyes forcing the tears back. How could he be so stupid. He had let his mother down. Why could he be so stupid? Why did he drink that much and go after the first demon he could get his hands on?

He pulled a pair of jeans out of the drawer and putted them on. Trying to find a clean shirt he looked in the other drawer. Finding one he sighed. He tried to find his shoes and looked under the bed. Seeing them he putted them on and orbed downstairs into the kitchen. Quickly grabbing some food he wanted to go again.

"If you were planning on leaving, guess again."

Chris turned around and saw his dad. "Dad…I'm sorry."

"You're sorry? You broke your promise to your mother. Do you know that she cried herself to sleep worrying something happened to you?" Leo was furious.

"No I didn't. I'm really sorry but…" Chris tried to apologize.

"No buts. She doesn't want to lose another kid Chris and neither do I. So we decided to take away your powers for now and send you to your grandfather."

"No you wouldn't…You can't take away my powers. I need them. What if I get attacked or they find out where I am and something happens to grandpa?" Chris said chocked about what his parents decided to do.

"You know better then that Chris. We think it would do you good. Appreciate the things you took for granted." Leo said calmer now.

Chris shook his head. "You can't do this. You can't punish me for what happened to Patricia." He stepped back. Looking at his father in disbelieve. How could they do this to him. He was careful, he always was. He couldn't help it that his sister died trying to vanquish a demon.

"We're not punishing you for that. We don't want you to get hurt and clearly we have to take away your powers to make sure that happens." Leo turned around walking away from his son.

"Dad please can't you think this over? I really promise that I won't do it again." Chris begged his father.

Leo stopped lifting his head a bit he sighed deeply. "Sorry Chris but your promises don't mean anything anymore."

Chris knew what he meant. Watching his father leave the kitchen he didn't know what to do. He wasn't sticking around so they could take away his powers. Orbing out he appeared at his grandfathers house. He wanted to walk in and ask if his grandfather approved with this but he stopped. The man was on the phone and he could hear perfectly what he was saying.

"Piper sweetie are you sure you want to do this? You know he's just grieving over his sister."

"Yes I know he's acting out but taking away his powers?"

Chris felt his heart pounding in his throat. He couldn't believe that this was really happening.

"I thought he promised to stop drinking?"

Chris closed his eyes. So his mother found that out too.

"Ok I'll wait for you to arrive then. See you soon."
